Emery and co

Featured this month in Coté Sud magazine is Agnes Emery's work, the architec who did the design of our bed (and also many other things, our witch mirror, chandelier, curtainpole, bed covers etc... I am a fan). I admire Emery talent, her design inspirations are art deco, art nouveau, moroccan and her colors are the ones of the netherlands famous painters like Rembrandt, Van Dijck and Vermeer. Have a look in her world on her web site if you have time. If you go to Brussels, take a look at her enchanted shop, climb the stairs of the small back room, a magical world is hidden upstairs.

This week-end findings

Woooow, so exited by that find, one in a lifetime. A lot of old, rusty trumpet, it will fit great on our office wall beside Nico's club.

Carmen à Marast

Quelle bonne idée. Le week-end dernier était présenté en plein air à Marast (Haute Soane) l'opéra de Carmen. Le spectacle commence au pied de l'abbaye et évolue dans le village. Les villageois, après plusieurs mois de répétition, chantent et figurent dans la mise en scène. Champêtre.
